ArtStar offers a unique way to bring people together at your event. Children as well as adults are excited to try silkscreening for the first time- to create an animal in clay and ad it to a group piece or to put their mark on a piece of art that celebrates the community they live in. ArtStar is all about connecting, community and celebrating the unique personal expression of the people coming together to share in the event. We are all artstars! Most of us hear the word art and freeze up but this does not need to be so- we can rediscover our creative side, learn to let go of self-judgements and enjoy ourselves. For parents this is an important lesson to share with our children and making art together as a family is a wonderful way to connect, make memories and celebrate oneanother.
ArtStar’s objective is to bring people together through art. ArtStar does this by making arts experiences accessible for people of all ages and backgrounds. I invite the community to come create art as a way to connect through positive “art dialogues” about the many issues that might need exploration or expression on a community level.
